Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair with lightweight durability and great maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold makes it's lightweight and also freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines into a nearly flat position, and there's a huge storage bin and canopy. Baby suitability: Yes, with a separate carrycot (not suitable for sleeping overnight).
Air-filled tyres and a good suspension will handle rough terrain well. It's also suitable for jogging, but you should wait until your baby is six or nine months old to do this.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This lightweight pushchair by Ickle Bubba has a lot of features that parents will appreciate. The travel system comes with a lie flat carrycot for babies and a multi-position forward and rear facing pushchair seat.
The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to see why it's received such high marks from customers. It's incredibly light - the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg - and it's also super-easy to construct. In fact, I was able to put it up and running in just five minutes, which is amazing considering that it also included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!
The seat is large and comfortable for Annie who is 12 months old. The recline lever was simple to use. The basket is spacious with plenty of room and I am impressed that the handle bar comes with an area to keep your phone and keys secure.
The handlebar is a bit low, which could be an issue for parents who are taller. However, it's coated in a gorgeous leather-like material that's soft and comfortable, and it wipes down easily, making it still a breeze to push with bags and children on your hands!
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is made for sporty parents who can't wait to go outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on field and forest trails and the front wheel can be rotated and locked for additional versatility. It also comes with a padded 5-point safety harness and a front bar to keep your little one safe on all trips, while the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving when you are taking a break. The seat can be repositioned to lay down and the canopy can be opened for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 cm to accommodate dad or mum's heights.
The Runner will accompany you on all your adventures whether it's a leisurely walk, a longer hike or a long distance trek. It features a completely flat lay-flat seat with suspension air wheels to ensure a smooth ride. The front wheel can be locked for more stability when walking on narrow streets or busy sidewalks. The stroller is also able to fold up to fit into car boot spaces and storage spaces.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Also, the locking system (requiring two buttons on either on either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebars are higher than some competitors, and therefore may not be suitable for taller parents. However the stroller is durable and a lot of fun, and is worth considering by active families.
Red Kite Push Me pacing
The Pace is a great option from Red Kite, an affordable British brand that prides itself on making well-designed and no-fuss essentials for parenting. It's the latest and most expensive product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller range and as with the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo, is car seat adaptable so that you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace boasts some fantastic design elements, like the rose gold hue to the hood, chassis and stroller trims to make it stand out from its rivals. The car seat and stroller fabrics are fashionable in grey, tan, and cream. You can also choose to add handles made of leather and a bumper bar to complement.
The stroller seat can be used from birth to a maximum weight of 22kg. It converts easily into a reversible 2-in-1 position, either facing the parent or facing the world. The stroller seat offers multiple lie back positions, comfortable padded leg rests and comes with an extendable sun canopy with concealed zip sections, viewing through flaps and an adjustable sun visor.
When folded it's Pace measures up at 56 33 x 43 x 32cm, which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among other airlines. It's also easy to collapse, with two buttons on the handlebar's opposite side which just click in and out. Then, it will pop up.
Bugaboo Fox 5
Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate, all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis, with a shorter wheel-distance makes it more maneuverable than its predecessor. I tried it out alongside my two kids - an infant and an eight week old - over the rocky roads as well as woodland walks that are grassy and even cobblestones.
The large, puncture-proof wheels - either 22cm or a bit larger they can be used on various terrains. They also have an easy flap that opens or closes to let more air in when you require it this is a nice touch. It's a bit bigger than some pushchairs but it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when you're pushing it over bumpy surfaces.
The fabric of the seat is machine washable and the frame and faux leather grips are simple to clean. It's also much quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt confident using it on busy city streets. It has built-in accessory points, so you can attach parasols and footmuffs along with changing bags, snack trays, and even snack trays. You can also use the hood to block out wind and rain, although it's not particularly waterproof. The single pram can be outfitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included), which gives your child more leg room. It took about 20 minutes to set up the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it to the seat.
UPPAbaby Ridge
Whether you're enjoying an early morning run under the stars or taking a moonlit walk in the cool air, the UPPAbaby Ridge turns every moment into a shared experience. This jogging stroller is all-terrain and is designed for maximum performance to keep you and your child active.
The massive 12" and 16" foam-filled tires give you an effortless ride, no matter the terrain. The suspension system that is patent-pending allows you to glide effortlessly on woodland trails while minimizing impact on your child's rear and legs. The durable performance disc hand brake allows you to stop quickly, even when jogging downhill.
From bustling farmers markets to street performers performing a tune, the Ridge navigates all your favorite city scenes with ease. Its large basket is big enough to hold your finds from the market and everything else your baby needs, while the roomy canopy provides sun and wind protection. The canopy on the front can be unzipped to reveal two mesh peekaboos that permit you to monitor your baby.
The Ridge's reversible seating allows you to decide whether your child will face the world in front of them or you and its easy foot brake system is easy for parents who are new. The reversible handlebar on the back is a fantastic feature that allows you to adjust it to suit your height. In contrast to other strollers for jogging, the Ridge's fold is reliable and stays self-standing while folded.
iCandy Core
iCandy's latest pushchair is truly revolutionary and has a lot of features that are going to wow parents. It features a Multi-Mode wheelbase and an LED Visibility Hub light, which is the first of its kind in the market. It also comes with an integrated Ride-on Board, which helps save on future costs and makes it easier for a tired toddler to accompany your family on outings.
3 wheel buggy is available as a travel system or a single seat. It is compatible with the most popular car seats, such as those from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It also has the largest seat unit in the iCandy range, which means it can last through your baby's initial years and beyond. It's a beautifully designed pushchair, and it has premium knitted fabrics. The handlebar that parents can adjust and the child's detachable bumper bar are made of soft leatherette, and the folding calf support folds away and is extremely comfortable for children.
I was amazed by how easy it is to fold and collapse it only requires one hand, even with the seat unit in place. It's also easily tucked away in the boot or hallway which makes it ideal for travel. The iCandy Core comes with lots of additional accessories, including a rucksack with a color match and a footmuff/liner.
